Bettie Lennett Denny

Compelling stories – real or imagined – help us grapple with deep-rooted social issues in a more tangible, personal way. That’s the philosophy behind Bettie Denny’s two novels, Angel Unfolding, a fast-paced Montana story that’s full of suspense and heart, and Burying My Dead, an IPPY award-winning amalgam of mystery, genealogy and history set largely in 1870’s Portland, Oregon. Bettie is currently working on a series called Those Stories - true stories of her mother’s flight from Nazi Germany - being published on her website’s blog at bettiedenny.com. A native New Yorker, Bettie worked in television community affairs in Omaha, Nebraska for 25 years. In retirement, she gratefully calls Oregon her home.
