Ednor is a writer, musician and graphic designer with deep Montana roots. His first book, Montana Curiosities, was published by Globe Pequot Press in 2010, and went on to become the best-selling title in the Curiosities series. The second edition was released in 2016 on Two Dot Press. Ednor has also written Myths and Legends of Yellowstone, which came out in December 2018, and his first hardback, Seven Montanas, is set for release this October. He's also revised the last two editions of Montana Off the Beaten Path, and Haunted Montana is scheduled for release in 2020.
Working under the nom de guerre Bob Wire, Ednor has written and recorded five albums of original material, including a 2012 holiday collaboration with Chip Whitson entitled Off White Christmas. Bob Wire has performed all over the West since 1995, and was named Missoula’s Entertainer of the Year in 2007.
Ednor’s writing can be seen in Missoula Valley Lifestyle, Distinctly Montana, Mountain Outlaw and other regional publications. In his travels, he always has his eyes peeled for the offbeat and interesting, never knowing if it will turn up in a story or a song.
