Please join us for the official kick off of our statewide tour for We Leave The Flowers Where They Are. 41 women. 41 unforgettable true stories. We Leave The Flowers Where They Are is a charity anthology, with proceeds benefitting Humanities Montana and The Zootown Arts Community Center.
Come join us at The Downtown Dance Collective for an evening of readings from Marylor Wilson, Robin O'Day, Elke Govertsen, Dolly Browder, Ame Boyce, Audrey Koehler Peterson, Tamara Love, and Jain Walsh. Upstairs at The Loft, we will have food and drink, music from the Garden City Strings, and a table from our non-profit partner, WORD (Women's Opportunity & Resource Development) and good folks from the beneficiaries of sales from this book, Humanities Montana and The Zootown Arts Community Center.
Upstairs, a curated collection of art from Marilyn Trenfield entitled "Women Celebrate Nature" will be displayed, and downstairs, we will feature the art of Jillian Wieler.
The event will be hosted by the one and only Rosie Seitz Ayers!
We would love for you to join us in celebrating the bravery of these authors, the importance of these non-profits, and the vibrancy of the Missoula literary scene. Every story matters, so please come add another chapter to the journey of this project.
