Gather Round

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Gather Round is a limited-edition DIY humanities toolkit designed for the Montana Center for the Book. We’ve chosen activities and picked readings that recognize the wisdom and curiosity in each of us. The toolkit has everything needed to inspire discussions about home, migration, technology and nature, including the anthology HEARTH by Susan O'Connor and Annick Smith. It also includes a deck of humanities playing cards, Montana Gold tea, and a miniature hearth to gather around.

In this event we invite anyone to explore and reflect on a sense of self and place through conversations with friends and neighbors using the games in the toolkit. We hope participants gain a deeper understanding of themselves and hear new stories from others. Toolkits will be available to order for free the following spring with a new book and interactive pieces.
