Brian Laidlaw is a poet-songwriter whose previous books include THE STUNTMAN (Milkweed Editions, 2015) and THE MIRRORMAKER (Milkweed Editions, 2018), each of which was released with a companion album of original music. He was a songwriting consultant on multiple Grammy Award-winning and-nominated records, and continues to tour as a folksinger.
Currently a Ph.D. candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Denver, Brian also moonlights - often literally - as a rock climber.
