Sara Bir is a chef and writer. An avid plant nerd, she is the author of two cookbooks,The Fruit Forager’s Companion and Tasting Ohio: Favorite Recipes from the Buckeye State. Sara frequently travels to teach cooking classes and talk about foraging. She lives in the oldest town in Ohio and skates with her local roller derby team as Carrion the Librarian.
