I am a James Beard Award-winning cookbook author for "Baking in America," and a James Beard nominee for "A Baker's Odyssey." I was Professor of Zoology at the University of Montana for 10 years before I left academia to become national spokesperson for Cuisinarts, Inc. I traveled all over the country and taught classes on how to use the food processor. For many years had a weekly 30-minute cooking show in Montana, "Big Sky Cooking." Today I blog, co-host a weekly radio program,"The Food Guys," on Montana Public Radio, and I write 3 food columns a month for the five Lee Montana Newspapers.
